Can i get out of my m.i.p.?

I am 19 years old and i got an M.I.P. friday night when my friend got pulled over driving home from Western. The cop breathalized me and I blew a 0.116 but I did not have my B.A.C taken and I wasn't taken to prison. This is my first offense and I have a clean record besides that. I was also very cooperative with the officer. This all happened in Jackson, Michigan so that's where I'll have to appear in court. Does anybody know if I will qualify for a diversion program and get this off my record? Also, should I plea guilty to get the diversion program and when do I ask for it? Thanks!
