Felony dismissal? What does this mean for the future?

I have been through this bro-think I can help you out. I had this in 2007 and basically I have checked-It shows on my arrest record however, I still vote/buy a hunting rifle, and get jobs interference free, and I say nothing about it... I had 3 Poss. Ctrld Sub and went to a one year program, did not get convicted but like I said-It does show on my arrest record, have been searched from time to time.
