Will loreal hicolor hilights bleed over everything?

I bought loreal excellence hiclor hilights for dark hair only in Red Hot, and i have read many reviews on it, however, none of them said it bleeds on everything. My mum decided to look up reviews and she found one that is all negative feed back about how it bleeds on everything. i looked at five different review pages on different websites and it never said anything about bleeding. My mum also says if it bleeds on anything she is shaving my hair off...and my hair is super curly, and i really don't want an afro...please can someone help? maybe with experience using the product, and if not i am friends with a lot of hair stylists so should i ask them about it? if so what should i say?
