1st offense DUI or 2nd?

I was 17, a minor, got a diversion & got the cop never showed up to my court date so the case was dismissed the first time I got a DUI. Now being 21 I just got pulled over speeding & blew a .12 & the cop put on my ticket as second offense. Wouldn't my first not be in my record? Will I have to do jail time?
