Did anyone read the LIE about Nicole Richie's heritage?

I was surprised to read OUTRIGHT LIES about Nicole Richie being latin and that her REAL mother was Mexican! This is far from true, but they do this to a number of stars. Nicole and her father have said it time and time again as to her heritage. When they went on the Oprah Show, they addressed it again. Nicole's father and mother were in Lionel Richie's band. HER REAL MOTHER IS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN LADY, AND HER REAL FATHER IS AN AFRO CUBAN AMERICAN. Her father's name is Escobedo. Her father is Shelia E's brother. Shelia's last name is Escobedo. Probably a hispanic of Mexican decent wrote the article trying to make everyone a hispanic. Nicole lighten her skin as she aged. Look at her picture as a child. He hair used to be kinky and very curly. For those who do not know Shelia E, she is an Afro Cuban American known for her bango and drum playing skills.
