In WW2, what made the Germans think that Normandy was a diversion?

Operation Bodyguard i believe was the name where Allies in England made it seem they were going for a landing in Northern France or Normandy by purposely giving German Double agents info to give the Germans an idea that the invasion was somewhere else!
