Where is the best placen in the united states for a single man in his 20s to live?

Im not rich. i dont have a college degree. and i dont really know any trades. im just looking to make a new life for myself so im trying to get some ideas. i love the outdoors. im not affraid of hardwork. and i would like to be near some sort of body of water. any suggestions would be great!
