Why would a boyfriend give these reasons for?

Breaking up or going on a break. That he needs to sort out his diversion, that he needs to get his car back, pay of debt ..sort out some health problems .he said after hes done all this we can get back together... He also said he feels insevure because im beautiful and it makes him feel uncomfrotable and that he doesnt deseve me .do u think his reasns are justicfied?
