Legal Advice (Before leaving a university campus I went around to collect bikes that were left behind)?

Before leaving a university campus I went around to collect bikes that were left behind. The campus had already been cleared out and several things were left behind, (futons, trash, etc). After putting 2 bikes in my car and riding back on 1 was arrested by the police for theft. I did not (cut) any bikes and acted with brevity and honesty when questioned by the police. I was surprised to be arrested as many people I know have collected bikes like this before that were left behind. My guess is to plead to contest in court and hope to have a post trial diversion or charges dropped. Any advice?

Laws such as tax cuts for the super rich - like the current ones Bush installed in America. Bush enacted the tax cuts but chose to keep on spending and doubled the national debt, which the country is paying for now. Budgets are getting slashed and people are losing jobs and competition again increases. Additionally, many of the benefits of greater taxation serve as freebies or reduced costs to the general population (transportation, health care, parks services) so they have more money to spend elsewhere. Plus it also can create good paying jobs for these different services. The problem today is that the highest income tax rate in America is currently 35% (but the rich only paid 17% due to loopholes in 2009) while in 1950 it was 90%. America's heyday was built on this. There are more poor in the US than ever before. The phenomena above has eroded the middle class in the US to the point today that 5% of the people control 90% of the wealth. The other 10% is for the remaining 95% to fight over.

So I was caught with less than one gram of marijuana and paraphernalia ( a little pipe ) and arrested for those charges along with minor in consumption. I don't need a speech about how I am naive or "stupid", I am a senior in high school with a 3.9GPA and scholarships for more than $50,000 to three universities. I don't mean to boast, but any time I mention my arrest I get automatically placed under the category of "dumbass". Anyway, I completed a diversion program with flying colors and had no problems and got drug tested during it as well, easily avoiding smoking any marijuana and came up clean. I ended a few weeks ago (4 weeks?) and they told me I was totally done and they did not want to see me again. Anyway last night I got a call from the program and they wanted to ask me questions and since I wasn't available they will call back within the week, and YES I have indulged and smoked a little marijuana since then because it is my senior year and I am being much more cautious about it, but my question is....can they drug test me again after my diversion program has been closed? thank you.

How can i get straight thin hair?

Or there are leave-in conditioner products you can put in after washing or on their own to add vitamins and such to it.

In fact, the people who need to be taxed heavily are the working class and poor, as punishment for their averageness. They should then give this money to the rich as a reward. To my knowledge, there is no free website for home schooling unless that website is operated through a recognized school system. Help with Misdemeanor Case in Maryland?

Okay. So here are all of the honest-to-God truths. My best friend and I have known each other for 13 years, but our relationship has been falling apart for the past 2. She started doing drugs and drinking (we are both 20), and I feel like I don't know her anymore. We went shopping two days ago, she didn't have any money, so she decided that she was going to steal some stuff while in the dressing room. Being as naive as I am, I thought that I could reconnect to her if I took part in the petty theft, and the worst that could happen would be a civil case between us and the store. Boy was I wrong. We got caught because apparently she has stolen from that same store before, an officer came, and wrote me a citation for a misdemeanor of theft for under $100 (I am thanking the Lord that it wasn't anything worse). I know it was completely irresponsible and absolutely stupid, when the whole thing was happening with the officer, I was balling my eyes out and having a panic attack because I couldn't believe I would let my morale go and stoop so low. Back to the case issue... I utterly cannot afford a lawyer and cannot afford to be convicted. This is the first time I have EVER been charged with anything and believe me, it will definitely be the last. I am begging and praying that the judge (who I will be seeing in a week and a half for my arraignment) will be gracious enough to allow me a pre-trial diversion so that I can set things right and not have this go on my record. I was wondering since this is my first offense, I am going to pay restitution to the store when they bill me, am willing to pay a fine, do community service, and possibly even do probation, how likely am I to successfully get PTD? Like I said, I live in Maryland, so I don't know how or if that affects my eligibility. Terrible psychiatric problems, what should i do?

I have been suffering with severe anxiety for my entire life, i get less than 12 hours of sleep per week. I had a sleep study, and it did not yield any useful information. I also have severe anxiety, especially social anxiety, and suffer from panic disorder. one day, i became such i nervous wreck, that i broke down, found a drug dealer and bought a vicodin, and with my luck was arrested, as a cop was watching the transaction. this is now on my hospital record. and my last psychiatrist, and all doctors/specialists, i have seen since then, refuse to prescribe me anything but seroquel, and other sedating anti-psychotics, for fear that i will abuse benzodiazepines or other sleeping pills. Seroquel makes me extremely sick, sort of like i have the flu, and i refuse to take it, and this ads to the drug seeking appearance that these doctors are trained to look for by the office of diversion control. I legitimately need these medications, but cannot get them because i was arrested once, and taken to the hospital, for possession of hydrocodone. which i never even got the chance to take. i had never misused drugs before, or after that event. and still, i remain out in the cold. apparently effective medication is a privilege that is taken away very easily by the DEA, ODC, and the medical community, to try to get you to buy street drugs illicitly, so that the police can arrest you, and so you have to hire a lawyer, and the judge and DA have someone to prosecute and then, they can send you to jail, to make sure corrections officers and wardens have jobs. i need sleeping pills but can in no legal way obtain them. what should i do? kill myself? the effects of this insomnia, and my symptoms of anxiety and panic are unbearable to say the least.

I think it is real to the extent that you mentioned. There are aspects of your life that you cannot control, like when you are born, where you are raised, and general happenings around you that affect your life. That is fate. But then there are aspects that you can control, such as what College you go to if any, what jobs you take, your hobbies, passions, etc. So I don't think somebody can be fated to become a Doctor, a Lawyer, a Teacher, a Musician, or whatever their dream career/life may, because he or she could have just as easily chosen a different path.

The dick cop came to us and asked us if we had any marijuana, and the dumb stoner of the group gave him a joint. the other kid game him a bowl and a 1g bag. and i gave him a packed bowl. I was convicted of fraudulent use of a credit card under 500, and theft. They are both Class A misdemeanors in the state of Kentucky, it happened 3 years ago. I payed back restitution and did community service, it was my first time offense. Can i do something to have them dismissed since it was my first offenses, like a diversion program? Please help me, it's been affecting my employment, any kind of help would be appreciated!

Are my chances for Force Recon doomed?

I need a drug waiver, there's no way around it, I was charged with possession and I'm currently on diversion (NOT PROBATION). Even though diversion will expunge the charge from my record at successful completion, the USMC WILL know and I WILL need a waiver just to join the corps. TENEN" a Sears lawyer say i MUST pay $250 or they will take legal action against me. i ignored the first two letters because i dont understand why i need to pay $250, when the merchandise i stole was $80 (according to them) and they kept the merchandise it was untainted an still in good condition. do i just keep ignoring the letters? willl they sue me, and ruin my pre-trail diversion?

If they deny you it isn't the end of the world. The people don't even know why you were denied. They just say no and then you will know.
